Nineteen Minutes Jodi Picoult

The was a very timely story-a school shooting-but with in depth background on the perp, the other students, and their families. Some of the characters are from previous novels, but this story stands alone. And a surprise ending. I really like the way she writes. "Nineteen Minutes asks what it means to be different in our society, who has the right to judge someone else, and whether anyone is ever really who they seem to be."
