The Ice Queen Alice Hoffman

A woman who has been touched by tragedy as a child, is struck by lightning, and suddenly she seems frozen, and has lost the color red. The man she meets has also been struck by lightning, but has been turned to fire. A really interesting book, and not as odd as that first sentence seems. I read the whole book in about three hours; I couldn't put it down.
