The Confession, John Grisham

I really have enjoyed all of Grisham's novels, and this one is no exception. This story centers around a man on death row, an innocent man, who was coerced into admitting the killing of a high school girl he knew. He's black, she's white; he was a high school football star, and she was a cheerleader.The real killer comes forward, too late, but leads a minister and the defense attorney on a chase to clear the name of the wrongly accused man. The death penalty in Texas, and the actions of the police in the small town are also front page news.
