Pirate Latitudes, Michael Crichton

Well this was not what I usually read, but it was really good. Historically accurate characters, and location, although some of the latitude was in the story line. The review I read said this was "everything you wanted in a pirate novel." Yes, it sure was.

Well, Miss Tulip, I don't actually (my favorite word) think Michael wrote this bodice ripper. And I think it should be sub-titled - "Bringing Syphilis to the New World in the Nastiest Possible Way." I don't believe is was "found" among his stuff but hey, V.C. Andrews has been writing from the grave since 1986. I really agree with most of your opinions. Sorry about this one but I'll stick to O'Brian for my latitudes.

Ok I guess I did finish this, and now I remember it! Not a cheery tale, was it?
