Tweak Nic Sheff

This is the autobiography, with license, of Nic, whose father wrote A Beautiful Boy. This is the story of the sons's growing up on methamphetamines, and a whole lot more. Tweak is a horrifying portrait, well written, but it ends with hope, which his fathers book clearly did not.Maybe Nic has actually gotten it together this time.

Remember Me Sophie Kinsella

I really liked this one, but I have only read two of her novels, and there seems to be a formula ... I want to read a shopahaulic one and see if they are similar. In this one, a high-powered exec has a three year memory loss, but ends up starting her own new company, dumping the controlling husband, and resuming a relationship with the lovely boyfriend.

Nineteen Minutes Jodi Picoult

The was a very timely story-a school shooting-but with in depth background on the perp, the other students, and their families. Some of the characters are from previous novels, but this story stands alone. And a surprise ending. I really like the way she writes. "Nineteen Minutes asks what it means to be different in our society, who has the right to judge someone else, and whether anyone is ever really who they seem to be."

Plum Lucky Janet Evanovich

Hilarious as usual. Love the characters. And the wacky plots.
This happened "two days ago, on Saint Patricks Day. Grandma found a bag of money. She bought an RV and hired Randy Briggs to drive her to Atlantic City. Turns out the money belonged to this little guy who thinks he's a leprechaun. And the leprechaun stole the money from Delvina. So Delvina kidnapped the leprechaun's horse and grandma until he gets his money. Problem is, we only have some of his money."
